Discomfort or Problems with Vision
If you are experiencing discomfort or problems with your vision, our team can support you. Eye problems, such as dry eyes, allergies, and infections, can significantly impact your comfort and daily routine. Our optometrists in Chicago can perform tests and evaluations to determine the exact cause of the issue and provide the necessary treatments, including prescription eye drops, antibiotic medications, referrals, and more. At Halsted Eye Boutique, we strive to identify the root cause of your symptoms and offer effective treatment options to improve your eye health.
What to Expect During a Medical Eye Exam
An eye health exam is more comprehensive than a standard eye exam. Our team of optometrists will examine your eyes, check your visual acuity, and assess the overall health of your eyes. We may also perform additional tests to check for eye conditions that may be causing you to experience issues with your vision.
Depending on your eye health, we may recommend additional testing, follow-up appointments, or treatment options.
Eye Health Appointments
Medical Visits - In-Office
These visits allow us to utilize in-office testing and equipment when necessary and a telemedicine visit will not suffice. If you are unsure which option is best for you, simply reach out to us and a doctor will determine which visit is best!
Most Insurances are accepted
These visits have been extremely beneficial in helping us care for patients during COVID-19 from the safety and comfort of their homes. These take place virtually through an app on your phone! While not all visits can be managed this way, it is a very convenient option for many that can! We plan to carry this option on throughout caring for our patients beyond COVID-19 when it is possible to do so.
Eye Cancer Screening and Detection
Many cancers first metastasize in the eye. For that reason alone, getting regular eye exams is extremely important to every person’s overall health. Our Chicago eye doctors check every patient for signs of cancer metastasis in their eyes and on their eyelids. We do not treat cancer at the practice; however, upon any suspicious findings, our team can refer out to quality oncology or dermatology specialists as needed.
We offer flexible appointment times, including telehealth eye care, to accommodate your busy schedule, so you can receive the eye care you need without disrupting your daily routine. Our team is equipped to identify and treat a range of eye problems to improve your eye health and overall comfort. Contact Halsted Eye Boutique today to schedule your medical eye exam or address any eye-related concerns you may have.
